About Me

AN BACKGROUND in the Literary Arts

I completed my Master’s in Writing from New York University in 2017. The intensive study done there makes up the foundation of my writing practice. When I take on new projects, I give it all the care, research, and attention it requires.

A real world education in personal finance

While I studied personal finance in my undergraduate years, I cut my teeth as a Registered Broker. I worked with financial planners and investment advisers to serve customers on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

The array of financial pictures I saw was staggering. Here’s a few common situations I encountered:

  • Soon-to-be and new retirees who’d saved all their lives with little idea of what to do with their retirement.

  • Parents unsure about life insurance and college savings.

  • College grads taking first steps toward retirement planning.

  • First, second, third-time home buyers and home-buyer-hopefuls.

  • Landlords, real-estate investment clubs, and investors considering REIT options.

  • Midlife career changes looking to make the best of roll-overs.

  • Couples navigating the serious illness of one spouse, threatening the financial stability of both.

My Passion for personal finance MASTERY in Your marketing Tool Box

My education in personal finance didn’t start or end with studying for and passing a FINRA exam. I’ve had many ups and downs planning and acheiving my financial goals. But, I’ve also gained experience, knowledge, and plenty of financial humility.

Which has been oh-so useful in my emotional approach to personal finance writing. At the end of the day, your customers are looking to make sense of their financial journey. And that's a task fraught with confusion and doubt.

I’m here to make sure they step in the direction of their financial dreams with confidence.
